A professional
and beautiful woman can open many doors and this one is inviting you to
enter the Girls’ Day Out . . .
Lauren Newton is definitely one of
the rising stars on television, especially on Network Ten’s “Good
Morning Australia”. Swimming with dolphins, driving a Porsche at high
speeds or interviewing superstars on the red carpet is all in a day’s
work for Lauren...
In addition to her regular
television appearances, Lauren has been appointed the Ambassador for
Girls’ Day Out – a unique event, which will be held in Sydney and
Melbourne in April, 2005.
Girls’ Day Out celebrates all
things fashionable, fun and female and there is no denying that Lauren
has all of those attributes.
Making its debut in Sydney’s
Darling Harbour, Girls’ Day Out is an event featuring what’s hot in
beauty, health, lifestyle, fashion and fitness over three days from
April 15 to Sunday, 17 April, 2005. The entertainment extravaganza will
then make its way to Melbourne at the Exhibition Centre from Friday 29
April to Sunday 1st May, 2005.
You won’t have to be a celebrity
or hop on the next jet to New York to experience the ultimate Girls’
Day Out of your own; it is being brought to you live in Sydney and
Melbourne . . . a party for all the senses under one roof.
Lauren will be appearing in the
Lipstick Lounge at each event with other high profile guests to
reveal the essence of the modern woman and anecdotes on friendship,
loyalty, vitality, motivation, elegance, career successes and challenges
plus getting the most out of a healthy lifestyle.
Girls’ Day Out is an opportunity
for girlfriends of all ages to share an overall sense of cheekiness,
meeting top celebrities, sip Franjelico cocktails, check out the latest
in fashion, nibble on chocolates, road test the newest in girly gadgets
and products and get a makeover all under the one roof.
Admission to the Girls’ Day Out
experience is $18 per person and this entry fee includes a special
Girls’ Day Out cheque book, which contains offers and retail coupons
that you can spend at the event.
Taking part in fashion, beauty
lifestyle and celebrity and fitness forums will be easy throughout the
day.
The Loveable Fashion Stage
is the heart and soul of the Girls’ Day Out experience, with high-energy
fashion parades. Meet some of the fittest women in Australia at The
Fernwood Health & Fitness Zone and the Qantas Sports Challenge
Arena.
Gourmet food will whet your
appetites in the Fast & Fabulous Kitchen, as celebrity chefs
create sublime Girls’ Day Out recipes and saucy cocktail concoctions
that are definitely meant to be shaken, not stirred.
If you’re not exhausted from
splashing on French fragrances, pampering moisturisers, puckering your
lips with gloss, styling your hair and pursuing the secrets for
longevity and youth, the Energise
Arena will complete your day, offering wellbeing interactive
workshops such as yoga breathing, Pilates, elegant dance moves and
toning your tummy with belly dancing.
It’s a date girls, sisters and
buddies. Leave the guys at home and visit the first Girls’ Day Out event
in Sydney and Melbourne. With organizers offering you unique access to
many things on your wish list and possibly a few things you never knew
